Just like motor giant Harley-Davidson is Porsche another “outsider” for the e-bike market. Meet the Sport and the Cross e-Bike models. The two Porsche e-Bikes are developed in collaboration with Rotwild and the Porsche Design Studio.
Porsche Sport e-Bike
The Porsche Sport e-Bike is perfect for daily rides, whether in the city or countryside, on the way to work. The full-suspension carbon frame featuring an organic shape inspired by the lines of the Porsche Taycan. Hart of the Sport e-Bike from Porsche is the Shimano EP8 motor and battery. The motor support up to 25 km/h, and Shimano electronic gear shifting system guarantees optimum performance. Part of a Porsche philosophy is a clean cockpit the MCi (Magura Cockpit Integration ) with the brake and shift cable routing integrated into the handlebars, you have a clean cockpit. The Continental SpeedKing 2.2 tires provide optimal grip.
Porsche Cross e-Bike
The Porsche e-Bike Cross has a full-suspension carbon frame and has it’s home in the countryside, off the beaten path and away from roads. Just like the Sport model this Cross e-Bike has a Shimano EP8 motor. The Magura- MT Trail high-performance brakes have extra-large, heat-resistant brake discs that ensure optimum deceleration, while the mechanical Shimano XT 12-fold shifting system enables fast gear changes according to the rider’s needs and the terrain. The hydraulically adjustable seatpost is the Crankbrothers Highline and ensures the seat can be quickly adjusted.
Porsche e-Bikes availability and price
Both Sport and Cross Porsche e-Bikes will be available beginning Spring 2021 in three frame sizes, S (approximately 1.56 –1.70 meters ), M (approximately 1.68 –1.82 m) and L (approximately 1.80 –1.94 m) at Porsche dealers and select specialist bicycle outlets. The Sport model has a retail price of €9,990.00 the Cross model a retail price of €7,990.00.
