Urban Arrow vs Lovens vs Gazelle vs Carqon
Dutch market leader Urban Arrow created their first cargo bike back in 2010. Competitors Carqon and Gazelle entered the Dutch e-bike family cargo market last year. In 2021 Lovens is trying to steal some market share from the others. The biggest challenge is probably delivering on time! Urban Arrow and Carqon both seem to have production problems. Where the Urban Arrow has an elongated design the Carqon has a quiet bulky container but has a children’s door. The Gazelle Makki Load has a high container but with a lower part on the sides. The Lover Explorer looks similar to the Urban Arrow family model.
