With 3 models has Specialized updates the E-Bikes 2022 portfolio. Meet the Specialized Como, Vado, and Tero. Specialized is well known for portfolio from the high-end road- and mountain bikes. Models as the S-Works Tarmac SL7 and S-Works Epic are top-of-the-line bicycles. In 2022 Specialized will expand its e-bike portfolio.
Specialized E-Bikes 2022 Turbo Como
The Turbo Como is a comfortable e-Bike with the power of a confident ride. With a low step-through, anyone can easily get on and ride. Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor offers a relaxed riding experience. With the fully Integrated removable and lockable downtube 710Wh battery can you ride up to 130 km with support till 25 km/u. A Specialized 2.2 has 90Nm torque, custom-tuned motor, 250W nominal. The battery is a Specialized U2-710, alloy casing, state of charge display, 710Wh.
SRAM G2 RS, 4-piston are used in conjunction with 180mm hydraulic discs gives enough braking power. SRAM is also used for the drivetrain, the 11-speed cassette is a PG-1130, 11-42t. The fork is a RockShox Recon Silver RL, 80mm travel. A spring suspension seatpost carries a Body Geometry Comfort Gel saddle.
If you prefer an automatic gear system you can get the enviolo automatiq stepless shifting system, the AUTOMATiQ gear hub is available as an option.
Specialized E-Bikes 2022 Turbo Vado
Specialized Turbo Vado e-bike is the vehicle for daily commutes. With a geometry that puts you in the best riding position for several types of rides. A Workout, daily commute, or adventure the Turbo Vado can do it. Just like the Turbo Como Specialized gives this e-bike a Turbo Full Power 2.2 motor and 710Wh battery.

Garmin Radar on Specialized Turbo Vado
The Garmin Radar on Specialized Turbo Vado is an option but the integrated radar sensor lets you know when traffic is coming up behind you. Garmin’s Radar technology can detect cars up to 140 meters away. MasterMind will give riders a visual, audible, and haptic alert of an approaching vehicle’s relative distance and rate of speed.
Specialized E-Bikes 2022 Turbo Tero
The new Turbo Tero is an electric mountain bike equipped for everyday rides. Where the Turbo Como and Turbo Vado are new in terms of e-bikes. The Turbo Tero is an update, but a firm one. Specialized says about this Turbo Ter e-bike “A mountain bike that you can commute on. A commuter you can take touring. A touring bike that you can haul freight with.” SRAM disc brakes deliver a substantial braking bite, 110 mm of front suspension travel smooths the trail, and a dropper seat post is there for when you need to really get down in technical off-road situations.

The prices and availability are not 100% clear at this moment, but we do know this e-bike will be delivered in 2022. Hopefully in the beginning? For the Turbo Como and Turbo Vado are also SL models available in 2022. The Super Light models have a different configuration and are cheaper than the non SL models. Price Specialized Turbo Como
Turbo Como has 3 models, high-end model Turbo Como 5.0 has an SRP of €5000,- the Turbo Como 4.0 an SRP of €4000,- and the Turbo Como 3.0 an SRP of €3000,- The Como 5.0 and Como 4.0 have SRAM components, Como 3.0 Shimano. There is also a torque difference between the models, from 90Nm via 70Nm to 50Nm.
Price Specialized Turbo Vado
For Turbo Vado is the model concept similar to the Turbo Como. Three models named Turbo Vado 5.0, Turbo Vado 4.0, and Turbo Vado 3.0 having the same difference in prices and features. An SRP of €5000 for the Turbo Vado 5.0, Turbo Vado 4.0 has an SRP of €4000,- and the Turbo Vado 3.0 an SRP of €3000,-.
Also, the price difference has to do with SRAM and Shimano components.
Price Specialized Turbo Tero
Last but not least the Turbo Tero has more models. The models ending with EQ are equipped with fenders, head and taillights, a kickstand, and a rack. Funny enough the Turbo Tero 4.0 EQ and Turbo Tero 4.0 Step-Through EQ have lower prices. Specialized has set the SGP for the Turbo Tero 5.0 at €5400,- the SGP for the Turbo Tero 4.0 at €4400,- and the SGP for the Turbo Tero 3.0 at €3400,-. Again, the difference is the components and SRAM vs Shimano.
