What is a crossover e-bike?
A crossover e-bike, as Rotwild calls the R.T750 Tour, is mainly a MTB with full suspension, a luggage rack system and mudguards. The combination of sport and transport continues to appear in characteristics such as voluminous tyres, a forgiving chassis with 130 mm travel and roadworthy features.

The removable 750 Wh battery powers the Brose Drive S-Mag motor that has a 90 Nm torque. Shimano disc brakes, shifters, cassette, front and back derailleur, DT Swiss wheels and Schwalbe 29×2.35 tires are build around the carbon frame. Saddle is from Ergon just like the grips, Crankbrothers Highline 3 is used for the seatpost and the Rear Shock is a SR Suntour Edge Lor. Last but not least is visibility important when you ride your crossover e-bike in the city. The Rotwild R.T750 has the SuperNova M99 Mini Pro E-Bike head lights and M99 TL2 tail light.
Price and availability
Rotwild is a German manufacturer based in Dieburg. Their main market is Germany but when you live in Austria, France or Swiss or Italy there are several shop that are selling and maintenance the R.T750. The list price of this crossover e-bike starts at €6,999 EUR, quite some money but in the end you have two bikes for the price of one 🙂
